One of my goals this year is to keep a jot it down daybook/journal. I have already fallen behind, but I am going to catch up- its just a place to write a brief list style of stuff from the day. Anyway, I wanted to make something to use in it for a place mark, and over at Sparkle and Glitter they are asking us to create something for a new beginning. I think Nina Nouveau from Rick St. Dennis fits the bill perfectly. I colored her with copics and spica pens. Tag is cut from a Tim Holtz die, and the background is one I covered with leftover alcohol and distress inks from prior projects...then I added some card stock embossed with stars and a sentiment from Unity Stamps.

The colors are so pretty- love the idea of a Jotting it Down Journal...I am so forgetful- I would use it to remember stuff! LOL I could have one for upstairs and one for the craft room.....Great project and I love your idea! The tag is an awesome piece to personalize the journal for you.
