sometimes

the sheer stupidity of people astounds me. I won't go into details, but today at work I had to actually get up and go the mail room because I could not choke back the laughter any longer. One of my colleagues was telling another a few things in an effort to raise the level of coherence a notch or two higher, and being prone to fits of giggles, I couldn't help myself. It was one of those you had to be there things.

Other than that moment of hilarity, the other big news was that the water pipes froze somewhere at work which means our washrooms were plugged up. That happened after lunch- which threw a wrench into my plan of downing another liter of water... oh well. I finally decided HELL NO I am not going to let this deter me from my water intake. So I just ignored the Out of Service sign on the washroom and went on in. I am rebellious that way. Besides, the need of my bladder happens to be a higher authority than a hastily-scrawled sign scotch- taped to the door.

I also experienced a new level of pain today. I found my long-lost triceps- and they weren't real happy with the reunion. Sorta like a disgruntled long-forgotten cousin that had been MIA and suddenly is hauled in for questioning. But, I survived. And tomorrow is another day.

I love Jillian.
