Doodle Pantry Scripture quotes altered book

I wanted to make something inspirational to keep in my purse to use for jotting down notes or thoughts that I would want to explore in my journal at home... so I made this book to do just that. I purposefully kept it free of embellies that would get ruined in the depths of my purse!

I used Graphique 45 papers and my beloved Tim Holtz distress inks and the Scripture quotes Laurie has over at Doodle Pantry Digital Doodles right now.

I picked up the book a Dollarama and forgot as usual to take pics in progress but its easy-peasy!
I used the red tacky tape to adhere it to the edges and it worked great. I printed quotes out and cut the cover one with nestie. Then I sponged different Ranger Distress inks in it... Pine Needles, Vintage Photo and some Black Soot. I then added paper to the insides and used a cuttlebug emobossed section for the back for some texture.
I then sealed it all with Mod Podge and that's it!

Entering the Sentiment Sundays Challenge 6- new or neglected stash (new book and some neglected graphique 45 papers I had been "saving"!

Very nice project, especially the font that you used. I'm also in love with the TH Distress ink lately...use it on everything I do..
