Doodle Pantry Pasque Flowers in lavender

Today I have this beautiful image called Pasque flowers from Doodle Pantry.. available right here!

Awhile back I was playing with melting crayolas on glossy cardstock for backgrounds and the green background is one of my attempts... did not get the look I was planning on but knew I would find a way to use some time.. and I think it works well with this image.

Image was colored with copics and cut with nesties and sponged with Ranger Distress Ink in Concord Grape. I then covered with Rock Candy crackle paint and let dry.

the background was made with melting crayons.. here is a tutorial..as you can see mine came out nothing like that but I had a tiny craft iron and didnt get a good layout.. anyway, its still fun!

Layered image over ribbon with some wired flowers (thanks Crystal) and bazzil bling cardstock and neenah white base.

Inside I just added some trim and one of the sentiments from the set.. love this!

Wow - really LOVE the shimmer! I haven't used the Rock Candy products - but now I'm thinking I should give them a try. :)
