Vintage Belly Dance ATC

Another ATC for a swap at Splitcoast Stampers forums...

This is one my faves.... not that I have done that many yet lol. Image was covered with glitter using the Burnished Velvet or Burnished Glitter technique . Then I took two strips of the silver tape used for vents ..it's not duct tape but for the life of me I can't remember what it's called. You peel off the liner and use it. Anyway its the width of standard masking tape. I put them in a Tim Holtz texture fades embossing folder and ran them thru the cuttlebug. Then I got out my alcohol inks and dabbed them with a mix of cranberry, caramel and gold. I think. In retrospect I probably would have colored it first then embossed, but it didnt really flatten out the embossing much anyway. The accent is a old earring I got in a grab bag ...and the fiber was a wishrak score! I really like how this looks in person.

I kept wanting to put some humurous sentiment on this... something about her hoping her antiperspirant was still working or that the old geaser pays well.. or have her saying something to the other woman... but I resisted.
