Shopping Our Stash Challenge 22: Inspiration Picture and/or Dia de los Muertos

The challenge at Shopping Our Stash this week is one of my favorites... it's to use the inspiration picture and/or the theme Dia de los Muertos!  I went all out fiesta style on my card... if you are familiar with Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead celebrations you know that flowers and decorating and bright colors are part of the fun.

I used SU cardstock and made an easel card. Background paper is from Echo Park (I think).  I used some glitter cardstock, stamped my Viva Las Vegas stamp in memento and colored it all up with copics, spicas and gel pens.  The flowers are on a ribbon which is now covered lol. Wild Orchid Craft flowers and misc stash items.  Bling is in the form of Stickles and Glimmer Mist.  Sentiments are from a digi kit availabe at Two Peas.

Thanks for stopping by and hop on over to Shopping Our Stash and see what the other DT members have come up with!
