Basic Grey What's Up!

Yesterday I made a run to my LSS and found some stickers that went with the paper pad I had bought earlier. I love Basic Grey!  I usually don't by the extras, but thought with the designs of this particular paper pad, they would be a good way to make up some cards without having to always find an image to color, etc.  So, after admiring what Leslie aka The Crooked Stamper was doing with the same papers, I totally stole her ideas and came up with this one.

I followed the Unscripted Sketches current challenge - the colors are pretty close, and I used some older SU retired card stock Close to Cocoa that seems be multiplying in my stash.  I ran a brown copic marker over the ribbon to tone down the green- it is also SU - can't recall the color.  Misc bling. I added some spica glitter pens here and there on the "image" for some sparkle, at least in real life!

Also entering it into Basic Grey's Anything Goes challenge!

I may whip up a few more cards with this line today!

I don't usually buy the accessories either, but every once in a while they are just too perfect to pass up! Love the sparklies on the balloon!

I love how the background paper totally draws the attention to that sweet, sweet hot air balloon! This really is a great collection and you did a marvelous job creating with it! Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)
