ABAC Challenge 2: Texture

Today is the kick off for Challenge 2 at  Anything But a Card Challenge Blog!  You can create anything but a card and this challenge is to make sure it has TEXTURE!  Think of embossing, corrugated paper, fibers, fabric, canvas, layers, felt, twine, velvet, gems, bling, buttons, etc.  Easy Peasy!

I wanted to play along with A Blog Named Hero and the challenge there is to incorporate a tag and  also for Spark Your Creativity Now- anything goes!

This would fit for both ABAC and ABNH so there you go!  Double duty. I  will be back next Sunday with my official project for ABAC too.  But I had to sneak this one in too!

I based this on a neat tutorial- you can find it here!  I used Ranger Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, and Broken China.  Hero Arts stamp is stamped on tag with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder, then I used Distress inks over it.  Resist technique.  The sentiment is from Paper Makeup stamps.  Misc cardstock layer embossed with cuttlebug and base is SU Crumb Cake.  Misc button and SU  ribbon.  The ribbon was MOST uncooperative when taking a pic. I finally had to move it completely out of the way!

Thanks for stopping by!
