Bound Mummy

In my continuing Halloween crafty mode, I made a bendable mummy.  You can see the original idea and instructions right here!   I used cheesecloth instead of muslin on this one- because that is what I had on hand.  And his arms and legs are not exactly even in length. I just attribute that to injuries sustained before the mummy wrappings.

Then I decided to put him in chains- he's been a bad mummy this week.  The challenge over at Haunted Design House Macabre Monday is to follow a chains/bondage theme.  I didn't have any chain chain small enough, but used some ball chain instead, and a strip of ribbon for a blindfold.  No peeking!  He is also appearing at Quoth the Raven Nevermore...words with a mummy.

I think I am going to make another mummy and take it to work.  I can see posing him in all sorts of poses!  Too fun.

Soooo funny! He must have been really bad to be chained up like that!! Must be quite warm in there too. Love to see what your colleagues at work would make of him!
