Quoth the Raven... Halloween 2

The other day I was in Michael's and saw this stamp- I HAD TO HAVE IT! So, it came home with me thanks to a coupon and saving 40 percent!  Halloween is my favorite time of the year and especially for cards/crafts.  I don't know why, but I love anything to do with spooky themes- not gory- just spooky!  Ok, I also like True Blood and vampires, so maybe it's just me.  Anyway....

Since today is my totally for fun crafting day, I decided to browse thru the different challenges and came up with a few to combine for this image. It's a strong and large image on it's own, so I wanted to keep it simple. I embossed it with black EP, then layered Distress Inks in Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo, Black Soot over it. I used just a dab of copic ink on the hat.  I used my nearly last piece of black card stock (how did that happen) and some of my beloved and retired Dusty Durango from SU.  Paper is from Echo Park Apothecary Emporium. LOVE this collection.

The stamp is this one from Stampendous.

Challenges:
Haunted Design House- bare bones (no bumpy bits)
Charisma Cards-no embellishments  ( I really wanted to add black rhinestones, sniff, sniff)
Crafty Cardmakers- winged things

Thanks for stopping by!

What a fantastic stamp Carla - I NEED that one without a doubt! I love your card. The colours work perfectly and I like the way you've allowed the image to speak rather than cluttering it - fab!!
