Shopping Our Stash Challenge 69: Emboss it!

Hello bloggers!  I hope today is a good one for you!  This week at Shopping Our Stash we have the challenge to use embossing on your project.  You can use dry embossing or heat embossing-the choice is yours- or heck, use both!

For my project I used all neutral colors and some scrappy bits I had in my "homeless bits and pieces" bin.  Most have been embossed with various folders, and the sentiment is heat embossed with Distress Embossing powder.

That's it for today!  We hope you can join us this week at Shopping Our Stash!

Challenges:
The Pink Elephant- monochromatic
Paper Playtime- punches plus sentiment

Carla, I love the layout on this beautiful card! Isn't it fun to find a permanent home for those bits and pieces? Awesome job!

Carla - Love this! *angels singing* Don't you love using scraps and making something so beautiful?? Great idea to emboss the flowers.....I'm gonna have to try that! And I love that you have a "homeless bits and pieces bin"....I think I need to make one of those! And label it that way. My kids would get a good laugh out of that....either that or think mom had lost it ;)
Blessings,
Michelle

You card is wonderful Carla with the bits so beautifully co-ordinated but still separate. I used to love when I showed my school students how to emboss as therewas always an intake of breath and an ahhh moment. Of course the heat gun had to then leave the classroom with me as the totally fascinated were known to sneak in duiring breaks and play yet some more.
