ABAC Challenge 3: Shine, Sparkle, Bling

We are entering the second week for the 3rd challenge at Anything But a Card!  The challenge is to include things that shine, gleam, sparkle, bling, etc!

I made this altered can pencil/tool holder for my project.  I used the infamous black bean soup can - but this time I went shiny.  I used aluminum tape.  I colored the tape with Ranger Alcohol inks, then ran thru the cuttlebug with an embossing folder.  I then wrapped it around the can.  Super easy!  Then I went back and dribbled some more colors here and there for greater definition.  Since I took the pics, I went in and sealed the tape with glossy modge podge just because I had it out for something else!

I hope you will make time to join in our challenge!  Thanks for stopping by!

It might have been super easy and fun to mess but your recycled can packs a wonderful arty punch Carla. I will be casing your idea that is for certain.
