Shopping Our Stash Challenge 76: Your Best Deal

... or at least a really good one OR something you had to buy because it was on sale!  At Shopping Our Stash we want to you to create something using something you couldn't resist buying- either because it was the best deal EVER or just because!   know you probably have at least ONE thing in your stash that works!  Be sure to tell us what it is in your post!

For my card, I used October Afternoon papers and misc cardstock. Kept it simple and paired it with a Unity Stamps sentiment.   The image stamp is Hero Arts.  Colored with copics,

I have a hard time resisting things on clearance sales.  Especially when you get an extra 40 percent off clearance prices!  So the typewriter stamp was one of my more recent great deal purchases.  It would be fine, except I already have a tyepwriter image stamp- and really, how many do you really need?  Geesh.  Ok, at least I used it.

If you have bothered to read this post, and would like a gently used Hero Arts wood-mounted typewriter stamp, (not the sentiment- it belongs to another stamp!) please email me using the contact button at the top of the page.   If I get more than one email, I will draw a name at the end of the challenge next Monday and announce next Tuesday on my next SOS post.

Thanks for stopping by!

Carla, this is fantastic! I do love that typewriter image (but already have one by someone else). Great DP and of course, sentiment!

I know this exact feel! But if you hadn't bought it, you would then be sitting at home thinking "SHOOT! why didn't I get it?" How I have made many purchases...lol! And of course, I too have several typewriter images, lol!

Carla - This is so cute!! Those papers are perfect with the typewriter image! Oh my! I knew someone that repaired typewriters when I was little and I always "played" with one when visiting. They were so fun! My very dear MIL still uses one. Can't believe it still works for her!

Your card is cute! I think all crafters suffer from Sale Gotta Have It Syndrome now and then!
Typewriters are very much back in fashion aren't they?

At least it wasn't the exact same stamp! I've done that before!!

The typewriter and the DP are made for each other and the whole card is wonderful!
