Thinking of You Turtles- another case of what WAS I thinking?

Do you ever find yourself buying something just because it's a good brand on sale or clearance?  I have done that more times than I care to remember.  I have a small box of stamps I bought on clearance here and there but remain unused.  So in my ongoing quest to ink them all before I die, here's one more down:

Hero Arts turtles  -  I honestly don't even like this stamp.    It's kinda cute, but then I spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to figure out what kind of sentiment I would use for it....finally I just slapped a "thinking of you" sentiment on it and called it done. I also used some impulse buy papers and some way old ribbon I had to have years ago.  I was on a gingham kick then.  So, it was therapeutic to get this card completed.

This stamp has now joined a few others in the sell/donate pile.

bahahaha :) Oh yes, I know this story! At least I've started narrowing it down to GOOD BRAND on sale (it used to be anything...ahem). I think you've made a cute card with this stamp - although I don't know what I would use this stamp for either? Maybe babies? Meh. This works! Love the gingham too :)

I think we've all done this! I don't know how many stamps I bought that were only used for one specific event and then never used again...
However, for not liking this stamp, you did a wonderful job creating a cute card. It would be great for kids or a turtle lover!
