Daily Paper Prompts + Delicious Doodles= Gargoyle Guardian

I am so happy that the DPP are continuing on - and I combined a couple of prompts for a page in my art journal.

The DPP asked us to cut a window- and I used a gothic arch window die by Memory Box.  I then used DecoArt Modeling Paste to give an illusion of stone/rock- coated it on the paper (misc mixed media paper I had) and then let it dry.  Then I used some tan, gray, and white paint, and painted it.  The background behind the window is from a tag I started some time ago- using glossy cardstock and alcohol inks.  I used this  fussy-cut Gargoyle image from Delicious Doodles, and then added some clear alpha stickers from Recollections.

I like the way it turned out!

Challenge:
Smudgy Antics- fussy cut
Delicious Doodles- anything goes

I love gargoyles Carla and am currently saving for a couple of fearsome creatures to nestle in amongst some flower pots. The background textures and colours you chose show your fellow off to perfection.
