Forevermore heart tag

At Smudgy Antics, the challenge is burnt offerings.  For my project I used a heart digi stamp from Smeared Ink as the starting point.

I colored with copics and spica glitter pens, then went to work on the tag.  The tag was painted with black acrylic paint, then I used a flame stencil and some different spray inks over it. I then adhered the heart, smudged some more black paint here and there, and added a sentiment phrase.  The ribbon finishes it off...sorta simple, but the tag background is wicked! The sparkly layers of ink are really neat!

I love your tag background! It reminds me of the burning embers in the base of the fire that pop and fly into the flames. Fabulous take on the burnt offerings challenge! Thanks for playing along with Smudgy Antics this fortnight :)
